Helpful Hints
- Drain carefully a gallon of water from your water heater periodically to remove sediment from the bottom of the tank.
- Replace the anode rod in your water heater every 5 years.
- Replace the batteries in your smoke alarms when you change the clocks for Daylight Savings time.
- Replace disposable furnace filters every month or clean the reusable type filters bi-monthly. Have your ducts professionally cleaned every 5-6 years to keep air clean and reduce electric bill.
- Clean the lint from your entire clothes dryer vent system, from the vent cap all the way back to the dryer. Have a certified technician inspect your exhaust ducts annually.
